I’m such a pansy. I read books that absolutely require trigger warnings, but the keeping of secrets and holding them as a deal breaker gives me the kind of anxiety I have before big tests. But it’s different because I don’t know where the story is going. Even if the author has said it’s an HEA. So I see the trajectory of the storyline, but I can’t jump out. I don’t want to read more, but I do. Here I go.

I started this book because of the promise of a smutty good time, yet, while that is the case, I find myself absorbed in a very gory horror story and I love it 👹👹👹
