Somehow though it still works to effectively show the characters obsession without becoming too annoying.

Chapter 1
Still getting used to the third-person limited narration. I usually prefer being inside a character’s head rather than watching them from the outside. Also noticed there’s more narration and description than dialogue. Curious to see if I’ll get more comfortable with the writing style as I continue.
