They have the best enemies to more banter and tension. I love their back and forth. Though I’m interested to see how far they can both take it.

This one is such a fun premise! Charles and Marie are great enemies to more and I can’t wait to see how their relationship progresses.

Mini-rant, why are 99% of parents in historical romances so unhinged (that is, if they aren’t already dead)?

I probably shouldn’t be reading this but the arranged marriage trope is my one weakness.

Oooo Marie is three years older than Charles. I like it when the heroine is a bit older than the hero. Not excessively so though
