I’m just a tad confused in all of this, I understand the metaphorical point of it but I’m still trying to find a meaning to all of this.

This is now the second time the Absolute books have talked about current gun violence in America, the first was in Absolute Batman with a shooter going to the zoo, and now with Absolute Martian Manhunter where John tries to talk down a mass shooter. What does it for me is how we get the brief introspection of the victims and see how painful of how their color is leaking from them; their life.

A brush with death, a secret other, rainbow fumes, and an otherworld another; mix these ingredients into the bowl and mix them in with your trusty whisker and spoon and you get this great first issue full of pop, pulp, and color.
