Status Updates From The Lure of Wolves and Whis...

1.) the fantasy world building MUST live up to the hype.
2.) the romance aspect always comes second but it’s still crucial god help me if it’s used as a plot device.
3.) I really hope that the cover and title ties into the book.
4.) the female protagonist better be bad ass, what with Connolly advocation for gender equality.

I grew up watching her on cbc, and her articles on gender equality and foreign policy was entertaining yet informative, a combination that is rarely found in political journalism. Going into this I have as always expectations:

I’m very excited to read the lure of wolves and whispers, I’ve heard great stuff about it and it’s a bit of a return home, that is; to my comfort zone: Amanda Connolly is definitely my favourite journalist and her journey into creative storytelling….so excited! I mean when I heard I was like “WHAT OMG OMG OMG!!!!”

At this point idk who I want Maeve with but I just need her to survive
