This may be the first time I’m enjoying such a slow-paced novel because I just love the worldbuilding so much lol.

Ooooh, this is so GOOD. Detailed, well-thought-out worldbuilding that’s reminding me of works by P. Djèlí Clark, NK Jemisin, and James SA Corey.

I am seriously struggling with this dialect-slang-vocabulary shifts.
I wonder about how after 200 years there hasn’t been more of a gravitation toward speaking more common-shared language aboard the ship. Just curious. Assimilation not being a focus but strength of culture may be tied to language in this case?
A commentary on humanity.
