I really wanted to read a terribly written, cheesy, silly little halloween-ish romance and that is EXACTLY what I'm getting!!!

The FMC has chilled out but I still find her sense of humor annoying. At least she only used ChatGPT once.

The LI's name is Hanry. I keep reading it as Hangry 🙈 But he's a boring dude who the FMC keeps mooning over how hot he is... also... lame dad joke central here

Sabby is meant to be cute and witty, but omg, she has got to be the most annoying character on the planet, I guess I should keep reading to see how annoying she gets. 🫠 And she uses ChatGPT once when she is stuck on wedding planning, finds it unhelpful, but still... 🤢

Girl from a witchy family trying to live a normal life returns to Salem, inherits a creepy apothecary, meets a graveyard-foraging lumberjack-core boy while committing several unavoidable crimes, and ends up bound to the place by a magical bequest. Very jaunty and fun. A great read if you’re looking for a cozy paranormal romcom where some of the cast of characters happen to be spooky, scary, or dead.

This story is growing on me - it’s quirky, and not going to be for everyone, but it’s like a ridiculous rom-com vibe haha

This is definitely quirky. Feels a little like ‘Folklore of Forever’ with the writing style

I love a book with chapter titles and I love how unserious and campy this book is. I’ve laughed multiple times. Reminds me of the Ex Hex.

One complaint: mentions using chapt gpt but the narrator is 22 so whatever 🙄
