This was brilliant and dark and captivating. I absolutely adored this short story! And seeing it’s based on true events is just the icing on the cake!

I really liked this one I’m not sure how to describe it. It was chaotic there was self discovery a cult like community isolated on an island, hidden connections and it is going to stick in my mind.

The Hanging Stones

This was an eerie read with an unknown darkness in the moors. It was okay an interesting look at Grief. And references to witches but nothing concrete. I’d have loved some witchy stuff here but nothing so frivolous.

This was brilliant! A look into feminine rage, misogyny with a suspenseful pacing. The combination of AI and folk horror was interesting but works so well in this story. This is an author I’ll be keeping an eye on for sure.

This was creepy like an old ghost story but nothing impressive. I did like the art style though it lent a hand to the atmosphere. I was t expecting a comic in this anthology.

This was so full of suspense for such a short story. I loved this it was both creepy and insightful. I felt like I had to note and annotate this story. The writing is so powerful, I’ll need to read more of this authors work for sure.

I really enjoyed this story. The ominous traditions of this small town, the cannibalism and superstitions made this so eerie and atmospheric!

This one didn’t land for me I don’t really get it maybe I’m totally missing something but this one just didn’t make any sense.
