Sometimes it seems better to do nothing, or very little, until the next idea reveals itself. Maybe it’s not therapeutic parenting, it’s ‘laid back parenting’, which, as we’re older now, we tend to do far more of. When you’ve been doing this a long time, like us, you pick your battles and know that most times, things will turn out fine. A good night’s sleep is worth more than gold.

second half of the book was very heartbreaking. Would have been 5 stars if the first half wasn't so drawn out.
