Reminds me a little of Mystery at Lynden Sands, by Connington - which I read recently - but without maps. Anyway, I do like returning to Phoebe Atwood Taylor now and then, but she gets a lot of 3 star ratings from me, and I wouldn’t mind hitting a streak of her books that I can rate higher than that. This one could rank high, if it stays strong. I like it.

In Round 1 of Non-Detection Club member versus Detection Club member, neither book was spectacular, but Harvard Has a Homicide was more rewarding, ultimately, than A Free-Range Wife. I start Round 2 with Phoebe Atwood Taylor, and she will duel with either Margery Allingham, or Agatha Christie. Probably.
