The one time the fmc is able to get some catharsis and yell, for some reason Duke brings the kids around and they hear everything?? He should have heard the raised voices and guided the children away instead of patiently watching the argument… ridiculous!!

I hate the mmc. He literally is restraining the fmc, while she’s screaming and begging for him to let go, from going into the house to see her uncle who has just passed away.
