It’s going to be a DNF for me, unfortunately. I’ve enjoyed other books by the author. I wanted to like this one.
The FMC annoyed me. I have no idea what the MMC sees in her. She’s an indecisive, selfish brat. Almost to narcissistic levels. Sorry.
Also the nick names - Charlie Bucket? The author makes a point with it, but those are for teens… not late twenties.

Just for the record... I'm not even finished and I KNOW I'm going to immediately read this again! So good!!!

Have I mentioned how happy I am to finally be reading Ruby and Charlie's story??? Sigh... So good.
