British people talking shit about Americans is so fun, give me ten more chapters

Wow there's no way I'm reading a time-travel book where the author actually had interesting ideas about time travel

Oh fuck me this has 600 pages (I said while giggling and rubbing my hands like a fly)

So far I can only say that the book is certainly too long.
It feels like protagonists are typing numbers in phones to call people for ages - the handling of technical equipment is drawn out too long every time it is mentioned and it is mentioned a lot.
The pandemic backround feels eerily familiar. I m not sure if I like it or I don't like it yet but it surly could have used ruthless shortening.
