Not gonna lie, I find it hi-larious that the gov. officials like THE PRESIDENT and SECRETARY OF DEFENSE are kept vague, with very little identifiers. Considering this is set in PRESENT DAY 2025, we know who that’s supposed to be. And low-key that’s why modern stories like this feel strange.

And you the author knows how incompetent those fuckers are so I would pretend like they were someone else too.
