Status Updates From A Penance for Crows

So far I hate everything? But I'm dedicated to finish this.

I desperately want to like this book, but even that desperation can’t seem to hold my interest. Every time I try to start again, I fail to find myself hooked. Anyone else felt like this is/was a painfully slow start for such a highly-rated book? Pushing through, but woof.

work gave me a bit of bother these last few weeks - had to learn far too much theoretical mathematical engineering for my tastes - but hopefully this week I will be back to reading regularly!
