i’m actually getting into these short stories. they’re really predictable but I like the aesthetic and language

‘Mr Jones’ was a fun one. I loved the eerie feeling of the house. I still find the abrupt endings so weird but this one had a more modern feeling ending. There’s something so camp about a swoon!

noo I was enjoying ‘the lady’s maids bell”. that wasn’t a propper ending I was into it and she just died

That was my fav story so far out of the three. Justice for the poor dogs

I liked that story but the last line was lost on me. I just thought of pringle scented soap

I enjoyed pomegranate seed but knew the twist from the first page so it didn’t have any shock factor. I also don’t understand the relevance of the title to be honest, but I have to note the fact she wrote it circa 1900 so yeah
