The Tale of Sir Thopas - amusing if you've read the kinds of things it's satirising - the interruption is even funnier
The Tale of Melibee - absolutely insane, albeit amusing for it, especially the reaction to it in The Monk's Tale Prologue

Franklin's Tale - this was pretty twisted.
Also, it staggers me that anyone believes the myth that people used to think the Earth was flat when not only is there an abundance of documents charting complex astronomy and astrology going back 5,000 years, but this story refers to the planets as spheres and outright says the world is round, a century before Columbus.

The Squire's Tale - some good lines in this, but where's the rest of the story?? Typing issue, or Chaucer never finished it?
Okay, he never finished it. Interesting take on it in this article: https://news.northeastern.edu/2023/02...

The Merchant's Tale - insane
There was a huge typeset error, too, where about 10 pages suddenly repeated themselves

The Knight's Tale - some phenomenal passages and description in this. What an unfair outcome, though! I get that that was the point, but still!
