Gaaah I love this book so far!!

“Oh, come on, I’m just kidding around. Can’t you take a joke?” Alec said with derision, as if all the evils of the world could be traced back to humorless women.

The writing in this book in my humor.

“A misguided one. Probably. I warned you not to do Crime Hive,” Oscar said in his most annoying older brother I-told-you-so tone, which he used on the regular. Almost anything Oscar ever said, made me want to scream “You’re not the boss of me!” and run to my room and slam the door.
“I’m a grown-ass adult,” I said, instead.

Hooked by the first paragraph:

“I never set out to date a serial killer. But, let’s face it, it’s really just a matter of time before you stumble upon a murderous psychopath. No hate, but the dating pool needs work.”
