Status Updates From Book Club Boyfriend

The title and cover design do not mesh with the content. Clearly there was a marketing department trying to make this look like the rom-com everyone wants right now. I wonder what title the author actually wanted for her own book?

This cannot be the same author as Canadian Boyfriend. This is phenomenal writing, very introspective, and has actual complex characters worth exploring and understanding. Not to mention the whole LA aspect is actually accurate, traffic and stereotypes and even the antithesis of the stereotypical LA person.
