Status Updates From The Winter Folk

So different from anything I was expecting. Really enjoying it though! Pleasantly surprised!

The thing I like about Cass and her mom so far is that they feel like two versions of the same person who took completely different paths. They're around the same age in the story, but their personalities and outlooks seem so opposite. That makes their interactions more interesting than a straightforward “mother vs. daughter” dynamic
