Sometimes I feel sad that I didn't maintain some of my oldest friendships. As if it is a poor reflection on me. This reminds me it's a sign of growth. That's not to say that us growing in different directions makes one or the other inherently bad. It just shows we aren't who we used to be. We were what each other needed in that season of our lives. I hate all the characters but I need to see how this plays out.
