Initial inspiration: Still an oddity in my mind…

We need rooms of our own to focus on ourselves and preserve our identity and independence. There is a word for this in German: spielraum. But there is no direct equivalent in Korean. And when a concept doesn't exist in language, it often doesn't exist in reality either.

We often find ourselves disappointed by those who didn't turn out to be what we expected. This happens to everyone, but it's easy to lose faith in humanity when you've hit with wave after wave of disheartening news on social media or in the press. Sometimes, it can feel like you've developed an allergy to people altogether.
