Status Updates From Amazing Spider-Man Classic ...

Yep, we got Spidey's origin. Hardly something I needed, but maybe the newspaper-reading public of 1977 needed. Still, kind of cool. Looks like Kraven the Hunter is the next villain he'll be facing. I've always wondered why Kraven was named that, since "craven" means cowardly. I've never read many Kraven stories, so this might be interesting.

The Kingpin is defeated, and I believe Spidey is about to recount his origins for us.

Spidey has defeated the Rattler - barely. In a way the Rattler defeated himself, but he was actually a pretty cool villain. I learned he is unique to the newspaper strip, which is why I was unfamiliar with him. It looks like the Kingpin is next!

Spidey has defeated Doc Ock, and now The Rattler is on the scene (I am not familiar with this villain).

Spider-Man has defeated Doctor Doom. It looks like Doctor Octopus is next.

So many Marvel villains have advanced degrees. Maybe I should become Doctor Accountant or something... LOL

It's amazing how much Dr. Doom sounds like Donald Trump - he's all "only I can fix this," and "only the strong can conquer crime! The power is mine, the skill is mine, the resolve is mine!" He also refers to himself in the third person... LOL
