Status Updates From Gorky Park

I need to look up whether this Author writes in English because the book is littered with such appalling grammatical errors that I assume it is down to being lost in translation. Some sentences are one or two words others go in for an entire multi-line paragraph. I wouldn’t consider myself a stupid person but not only do I not know the meaning of some of the adjectives he uses I have no idea how to pronounce them.
