Okay, concussion, broken arm, abandoned by Uber, held up at gunpoint by Santa, and run over by a horse thus far; egad, this is a very different tone than I was expecting. The audiobook performer is definitely selling "main character is a jerk" (maybe a bit too much, in fact, though I mean, I didn’t want him to suffer this freaking much).
