Soooooooooo many words!!!!! I feel like I’ve been reading for a billion years, on page 112, with 560ish more to go, and I’m still on chapter 2. Strongly considered DNFing this monstrosity when I saw the 2+ hour chapter, but there are soooo many good reviews. 😭😭😭😭😭😭 I feel like I’ll never get through this and I’m exhausted with the book already.

Can’t find anything about this Author online. She has one of her characters from Israel. So he’s an IDF soldier. Absolutely not supporting anything to do with that. Trying to romanticize an idea of soldier is just insane. Not whether they’re actively committing the genocide against the Palestinians. DNF

”I should have known then that wanting you would be the beginning of my undoing.”

This has been… a lot. I’ll admit, I’ve struggled with this quite a bit, but now I can’t seem to stop reading (ofc when I should be sleeping)

I need this book to have such a strong impact that afterwards I won't be able to listen to the Lifehouse song "Everything" (mentioned on page) without getting emotional. I won't settle for anything less 💁🏼‍♀️

ok, so pure heartbreak here…😭 65% in and I have no idea WHY is Logan doing ALL that he’s doing 😥

Absolutely loving this book. So emotional been shedding tears too often but wow beautiful writing

😩😩😩😩
“It’s your mother’s. She gave it to you, she wanted you to have it!”
“And I gave it to you,” Adrian replied with quiet conviction, a small, tender smile on his face.
Logan froze, his breath catching in his throat. “From the first moment?” he asked, his voice hoarse with disbelief.
Adrian nodded, his gaze steady, his smile soft. “From the first moment, ahuv sheli,”

I’m so angry, frustrated grrrrrrr I wanna kill Logan and than slap him till he wakes up so I can kill again 😤😤😤😤😤😤😤

Always Adrian. The man who had seen him—truly seen him—not just his surface, but every scar, every shadow, every light within him. Adrian had explored Logan’s soul with the same care he gave to Logan’s body now, and there wasn’t a moment of doubt. If there was anyone to guide him through this first, this new frontier of intimacy, it was Adrian. No one else could have made him feel this safe, this wanted.

I feel the world needs 100000000000000 Adrian’s 🫶

😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Be my lifesaver, and I’ll be yours.

I’m feeling 🥹

And somehow, even though they had just met, Logan felt as if they’d stepped into a different world entirely—one carved out of salt air and soft smiles and the slow, sweet ache of something beginning.
