Status Updates From Las noches blancas

I don’t very often find myself within the books I read; I seek books that offer escapism. I read this book on a whim with no prior knowledge and was a bit shocked at how much I related to the narrator. It’s quite interesting how a feeling can be so innate that it transcends time. I feel as lonely and desperate as the narrator describes himself. I too await someone to drag me out of my loneliness.
