Status Updates From The Art of Drowning

I find it hard to really relate to the thoughts of the author. It feels like we live in two different worlds, and I can't understand the verbal dawdling he engages in.

This book of poems is doing a fantastic job of making me slow down. If I'm too hurried I miss they point of a poem entirely. I've had to do breathing exercises to calm myself before reading.

The author uses too many water motifs for my liking. I just don't like them.
