Status Updates From Saber-Tooth: A Novel in Verse

I'm lowkey very bored. The pacing is glacial and this author is making some odd choices about poem structure. If you're playing with how the poem LOOKS, it should be for a reason other than breaking up the way the page looks. If you have three columns of text, I'm expecting you can read the poem across AND down the three columns and it will make sense. This isn't the case here.

I’m beginning to wonder if every novel and verse for middle grade is about kids who feel sorry for themselves. So far this book is zero % enjoyable.

I love a weird little book exploring anger and rage.
