It’s very interesting when you read a book that’s a retelling of a story you’ve already read, because then you get to say insane things like, “ah yes, this is the scene where the baby gets thrown down the stairs.”

I am so glad I had this to pick up, as listening to Emily Bronte's biography has me yearning for moors and atmospheric vibes. It was either this or pick up Wuthering Heights again (which I still might do!).
