A whole chapter on biopolitics without discussion of racism had me checking the index and, sure enough race/racism isn't even in there 😮‍💨

If you read these three chapters on film analysis and came away with the idea that disability culture only exists in the global north among mostly white people, you'd have good reason (you'd be wrong, but understandably so based on how this is written)

This is already so full of overblown jargon that I can hardly stand it. Academics, heed my call: stop taking your own bullshit so seriously! Write in such a way that you do not alienate those you most need to reach, to say nothing of those who would be allies.
