Sophie girl get a new job LMFAO. 5 years at that shithole and your boss said no to a promotion (that you weren't promised by the way) AND literally told you she wants all your attention on her!! I would have bounced after 2+ years ma'am. you couldn't have negotiated for higher pay at least?? you just accepted it??? HELLO???

I wish there was more world/setting building. It's implied that she's at the work place, but only through the conversation do I notice the area. I wish there were details about what her workplace looked like and the other small interactions. So far I'm just getting dialogue and a lot of it seems useless. Her and james don't have chemistry and feels stilted. very insta lovey.

Reminds me of gossip girl. I understand it's supposed to be a meet cute in the coffee shop but given the setting and the fact this shop is rat infested and what not, James is just giving creeper vibes and pretentious. Cool.
