Came for a queer story and the whimsical sentient roses, stayed for the unexpected, amazing disability/chronic illness representation.
This was such a nice read, I'm glad I got access to this ARC.

Okay it's getting more exciting!
It's kind of giving 'something is wrong with the forest' like CG Drews's 'hazelthorn' or 'don't let the forest in' but without the horror elements.
That plus some vague beauty and the beast vibes, but still definitely unique in it's execution.
Either way I'm locked in and ready to learn all about this beautiful, wild, eerie garden.
