I loved the description of this book. I love the magic system and the political elements. The writing style is throwing me a little though. While it's written in third person I find points being over explained and it's reading a lot more choppy and young in my brain which makes the spice and intimacy a little ickie.

The girl just saw her dad being killed, was in a kind of coma for a month and had to flee her country but right now her main focus is kiss the dude and have an orgasm. Ok
