DNF note: i think it's like fine and i've been limping along for the last 15% bc i do kinda want to know what happens but i don't like the vibes ... it's so 2012 and there's a manic pixie dream geek girl who won't stop talking about google and i just don't care. sorry mr. penumbra i did like you. also i hope mat and ashley get married

I found it a refreshing-naive piece of quick fiction. For me it is a homage to books and book lovers and to stories and to writers and readers. It is written in a good setting - and old, simple but mysterious 24h bookstore with cryptic books and shady customers from a many centuries old secret society of book lovers/keepers... What is not to like about it? Read it on Kindle, as contradictory as it may seem. LOL
