Status Updates From Kiss Me Again

I meant to do a update before getting this deep in the book but here we are!! I'm really enjoying this book so far, I'm loving Ludo and Aidan interactions. Aidan is so grumpy and I love it 😂

I strip him naked. Then I sit back on my heels as he peels my T-shirt away and runs his thumb over the inch-long scar on my ribs from the chest tube. He frowns, like he always does, and I don’t know if he knows he’s doing it. Or why. Then I catch sight of the marks on his body and my fingers itch to trace them too. I can’t heal him, and I don’t want to, but I’d do anything to take away his pain.

@ “Did I ever tell you my favourite colour is yellow?”
He gets it straight away. […]
Aidan reaches behind him and plucks a tiny yellow flower from a nearby pot, then reaches for another, blue this time. He presses both into my hand but doesn’t speak, and I’m learning that to hear him the loudest, he doesn’t have to.”

“My scars tingle. I rub my hands up and down them, but it’s no good. I’m indelibly marked by Aidan’s touch, and the empathy in his eyes as he studied my ruined skin will stay with me forever.
He understands.”

What happened here? The previous books were fine and entertaining.
