Status Updates From From All False Doctrine

This was really promising but it’s just getting way too long and lacking thematic/plot clarity ahhh

Picked this up on Rachel Neumeier's advice. It's an odd and hard to characterize novel, what indie publishing is best at, but I'm enjoying it in a very leisurely way. Not too much has happened yet except lots of conversations and intriguing relationships between some intense young people. It takes place in 1925 and it really does read like a book published then in a lot of ways.

I'd forgotten how great a good historical - fiction epic with a sprinkling of well-written, reasonably chaste romance can be. Delightful.

What I'm enjoying most about the story so far is that I can relate to the conversations and choices that some of the characters have.
