I almost broke down crying for Virginia after reading this. Her bravery in opening up about her story is nothing short of incredible

I can only read small amounts with breaks in between. This woman's story makes me feel physically sick while reading; it makes me want to reach into the book and protect her when no one else seems to care. It also makes me want to hold my daughter tight so that nothing like this ever happens to her. It also makes me angry that any woman, especially young girls, are subjected to such depraved behavior.
