Status Updates From The Assassin Shifters Books...

Um...aren't there supposed to be shifters?

I haven't returned to book 5 of 6. Needed to take a break and wanted to read something with a lot more substance. There's way too much sex and not enough of plot driven story.

Finished book 4 at 64%.

Finished book 4 of 6. Troy and Sawyer story. Rate it a 2.5. The stories are predictable and the plot aren't intriguing. Also, there's more sex than actual story. I find myself skimming through many pages. In a way, I'm not looking forward to reading books 5 and 6. I dread reading same type of conflict and way too much sex.

Finished book 3, rate it 2.5. Too much distraction with a lot of new characters, not enough focus on main characters.

I've got 58275927 books on my TBR, a few reviews due in the next week, and what am I doing? Rereading this entire series (yet again) plus the Olympians because I can't help it. Damn, I love me some Skull Blasters. And psychotic Devin.

So far I am loving it!

Just fishes the whole book. The last story was about Caden and Kellan. Oh and what a story it was! Caden was so cute I automatically liked him when he first flirted with Grayson, he was so sweet and charming. Kellan deserves Caden as mate, they complement one another so well. Caden's thing threw me for a loop, but of course it was resolved!

Well now I've devoured Grayson and Taylor, along with Jagger and Xander story. The author included 2 mated pairs in this story which at first I thought kind of dumb, but then it made sense. 2 brothers are mated to 2 other brothers. Confusing, it can be. However, the story was very nice and sweet. I really liked the story and the new characters was really great and refreshing.

Ok I just finished Troy and Sawyers book. This one was a little better than the first 2 but not as good as Sam and Dakota. The way that Troy freaked out was so funny! Poor Sawyer. Oh and the ex cop was a surprise, I really thought it was Nick at first, glad I was wrong!

Another story finished. I think out of the 3 stories so far, I've like the story of Dakota and Sam best. I think it has to do with all the other characters having so much time in it. It wasn't just about them two, but about everyone else as well. On to the next one.

I liked this story. What happened to Mark was so messed up, but luckily he got a good man out of the awful ordeal he went through. I feel like this books are rushed, I hope they don't all feel like that. The ending was very expected. Not once did I doubt Josh would ask what he did.

I just finished book 1 and I absolutely love Mateo! His and Riley's story is so cute and very surprising. Naomi threw me for a loop, I was like WTH!! Very good pace and characterization, they both seemed so real to me.
