Listening to the audiobook and yeah, I wish writers would leave the reading to actors. However, the content is compelling enough that I'm annoyed by the popular 1-star reviews for this. The author's empathy shines a brighter light on the subject than any documentary. It's like understanding cults in hi-res. There's wisdom here; intellectual self-defense. I'm buying 2 hard copies and donating one to the library. Damn.
