How did Allie Oleander go from such a fun carefree writer in her first book to this….?
Don’t get me wrong, there have been some really fun and amazing parts in this book but there have equally been just all around exhausting parts where she is hyper focused on things that are just not necessary and keep pulling me out of the story. I’ll addicted one second and ready to DNF the next.

Ok Allie, we get it. 🙄 Move on.

I absolutely adored Willing Prey, and loved the glimpses of Margot and Caine, so beyond giddy for this!!

The urge to DNF this is strong. So far all I hear is “my Christian toxic ex” blah blah blah, blah blah blahhhhhhh. This author is focusing way too much time on this chick’s ex-husband and how toxic religion is. I’m so bored. 🥱

Random thoughts…
The incessant monologue over her ex is already tiring.
I already know this book isn’t going to be as good as book one or live up to its hype.
Why I have a feeling the next cover will be orange…
