Lots of issues here. Little to no development of personalities for MC’s and some cracking problems with continuity.

Gael is little more than a foil for Sam and Sam’s trauma.

Gael treats his friends more like enemies. He is actually quite unpleasant to them.

This is fast running out of pages to develop a relationship. So far there is a lot of trauma and plot points that so far haven’t gone anywhere.

This author is obsessed with lemon disinfectant, polish etc. other scents are available.

This is heavy going. We are mired in Sam’s trauma and it’s quite suffocating.

Its a slow start....
