There is something very odd about the writing in this book. I just can't put my finger on quite what it is exactly. All i have is this lingering feeling of: wtf? —

From one book with a bad guy named Mr. Foster to this book with the main character named Brian Foster. Completely unintentional transition right there, but vaguely amusing.
