I think it's time to work some problems and then come back to this chapter.

This chapter makes difficult reading. The compounding of symbols and words to track makes it a difficult read.

Skipped exercises to go over chapter 10.

Crafty proofs for inverse functions that return identity set

Went over 9.3, 9.4 and 9.5. Feel like I have a better grasp. Now at 9.6- Inverse Functions

Proving that a function is surjective or bijective doesn't seem easy for me at this point. Will have to spend some time in this section.

Strangely simple reading through injective and surjective functions but I feel like the proofs would not be as intuitively simple for me to write. A deeper review may be required here at 9.3
