This whole "I take you into the woods and tell you to run" date is NOT convincing me that this man is not a serial killer.

Honestly, that'd be a promising twist at this point.

I’m keeping an open mind, but so far the absence of plumber jokes feels like they really let that premise go down the drain.

I don’t pretend to know anything about plumbing but I am 83% certain that turning the sink off does not prevent water from pouring out of broken pipes onto the floor.

Guy: I was mesmerized by her self-sufficiency. She'd clearly been fending for herself for a long time. But that was chased by an irrational spike of anger at whoever it was that gave her that haunted look. At whoever had chased her away. Or maybe she'd never needed help opening jars.
