See THIS is what I was waiting for. I may finish this book yet.

The plot is finally picking up. Rlly hope this last 40 percent is better than the first half. I’d really like to finish this book.

The passage of time is still confusing? But I’m just telling myself there was a time skip to make the interactions feel more natural.
I do like the MMC’s though. They’re all pretty interesting to read. Really waiting for the part where the book focuses more on the conspiracy though.

I have really mixed feelings so far. FMC is great, but the pacing and narrative are all over the place. Also- the passage of time is super unclear. I thought we were on day 3 and she said day 8.

This chapter read weird, as if it should have been further in the book. This is day one, but the way it’s written implies the FMC is way more comfortable here than she ideally would be for having just been yoinked from home and forced here. Not bad, just odd. We’ll see how this goes.

I’m in the middle of a chapter right now, but I had to make this note. In this chapter, the FMC introduces 3 boys to us, which I presume will be her love interests.
Thing is, there’s no indication of how she got this information at all.

I was a little worried about whether or not I’d get sucked into a new book after Phoenix Keeper. Pleased to say- I think I will be! This world seems really interesting, and I looove the humor so far! The FMC is very sassy and I like her!

So far so good. Love the FMC. Some of the dialogues are unreal pero tolerable.
Let’s see how it goes
