Little slow so far

The writing is trying so hard to be cinematic, but the first person perspective is really limiting the scope. Trying to describe a fight with multiple characters but only one POV means there is just too much telling and not enough showing.

I’ll keep reading because the premise is interesting, but I don’t think this will be a fantastic book.

Also COLDen is a blunt name for a frost king. Like Fluffy for a dog.
