HOLY SHIT!
Have you ever read a fight scene so cleverly devised and choreographed that your hands gripped the book tighter and tighter?
So tight you had to force yourself to peel your fingers away?
Even now the little muscles are twitching!
And the outcome! A bit predictable but satisfyingly so.
I’m forcing myself to save the ending for tomorrow so I can savor it.

This is the character I love. He is the good man.

Brand is good man. It’s repeated throughout this book. Many times with great emphasis and often like it’s a bad thing to be. At this point, it has me worried. I like Brand.
