"Disabled, ill, and otherwise nonambulatory animals are hardly the reason that industrial animal agriculture is dangerous and harmful. Countless investigative reports and studies have exposed just how cruel, toxic, and terrible these industries are, not just for animals, but for the environment, workers, and human health overall."

Many people are familiar with the concept that one can shift from "abled" to "disabled" suddenly, perhaps due to a car crash, a virus, or the inevitability of aging. However, it's also worth considering that one can become defined as "disabled" in a moment due to something else: a political decision or designation. What constitutes as disabled is very much "cultural, religious, political, economic, etc."
