The pages are large, the writing snarky, and the figures detailed enough to merit more careful study than one would anticipate. That's all to say that I'm going quite slowly on this one.

After years of meaning to finally dig into faceting, I've booked a beginner's course next month! To get back into the headspace (and prepare any questions) I've decided to work my way through Herbst's first volume before that trip.

Really enjoying this so far, bad jokes included! I feel like I'm getting a more complete picture of the process than I've gotten from any other resource so far.
